THE FIRM WILL CLOSE ITS DOORS ON FEBRUARY 28, 2022

Built c. 1820, these mansions on Bowling Green were elegant homes in what was then the most fashionable residential district of the City. When the well-to-do moved to midtown, they became the offices of several foreign consulates and steamship companies, and were known as 'Steamship Row.' They were demolished in 1898 to make way for the Custom house.
